CAMLOCK FITTINGS

A Camlock connector is a pipe joint that can be assembled and disassembled quickly without using tools, providing a simple and reliable way to connect and disconnect hoses. Union Metal provides various fittings products, including camlock couplings, Guillemin couplings, sanitary fittings, Storz coupling, tri-clamp fitting, hose clamp and ferrule, LNC coupling, TW Coupling, sandblast coupling, safety cable, strainer, Bauer coupling, air hose coupling.

We stock camlock types in various configurations and materials, including stainless steel, aluminum, brass, and polypropylene, with ISO 9001:2015-certified quality assurance. These premium components provide years of reliable performance, even in the most demanding environments. In addition, camlock connections are widely used in agricultural and industrial environments.

How A Camlock Connector Works

The camlock connection consists of a male adaptor and a female coupler, forming a fixed Joint connecting pipe or hose. Camlock fittings are quick and easy to use and require no operating tools.

Camlock Materials

Aluminum (AL)

Stainless Steel (SS)

Brass (BR)

Polypropylene (PP)

Operating Pressure

Standard cam lever couplers’ operating pressure is specified at 150 psi for most sizes. Please see the specifications page for a detailed pressure rating for each size.

-1/2″ -4″ is 150 Psi (11 Bar)

-5″ -8″ is 75 Psi (5 Bar)

-Testing pressure:

-1/2″ -4″ is 300 Psi (11 Bar)

-5″ -8″ is 150 Psi (5 Bar)

Application Temperature And Precautions Of Camlock Fittings:

-Service temperature: – 40 to 145 ℃ (corresponding to gasket).

-Not suitable for conveying steam or compressed air.

-Mainly used in low-pressure pipeline systems.

-The hose and the connector are fastened through a buckle, clamp, hoop, and hose clamp.

-High temperature or the use of PTFE seals will reduce the rated service pressure.

-The working temperature of polypropylene is below 70 ℃.

-Do not conduct artificial beating and thread installation; do not exceed the high tightening torque during installation to prevent damage.
